Sulfonated Asphalt Powderis a high-efficiency additive for water-based drilling fluids. It is produced by cross-linking lignite humic acid with sulfonic acid groups (-SO₃Na) and chromium salts.
Ce produit présente trois fonctions principales : la réduction de la viscosité, le contrôle des pertes de fluide et la prévention de l'effondrement du trou de forage, le tout avec un excellent rapport qualité-prix. Il présente une excellente compatibilité avec divers additifs pour fluides de forage, notamment la carboxyméthylcellulose sodique (CMC), le SPNH, la gomme xanthane et le polyacrylate de potassium (K-PAM), et ne provoque aucune réaction chimique indésirable.
